The stories in this book span several decades. Most have been published somewhere on this marvelous Blue Planet of the Modern Apes…some in print magazines…some in our new e-magazines…and a few in newspapers where the author contributed articles, stories, and cartoons, as they traveled the world in search of adventures; large and small. Rick and his wife Dottie traveled continuously during the 41 years they were together; however she tired of his company and left him on 9-4-2002. She returned to her home planet Uranus to begin setting up flea markets, where she could continue doing the things she loved…selling collectables & antiques, doing astrological charts, and handwriting analysis. Once, during a rum and story recital in Key West, an editor with the New York Times commented…some of your stories are too strange for normal humans. Rick’s reply brought applause and laughter from the gathering at Mallory Square…that’s why we moved to Key West.

Rick still believes that stories should be fun to write and fun to read…he enjoyed writing all of his hundreds of stories, and several books. We sincerely hope some of these stories fill that bill for you.
