A love of travel throughout the entire United States and Mexico, where the author met, worked with, drank with, ate with, raised hell with, and lived with at times during the past half century, has provided enough material for several books of western and Indian stories. If we don’t keep writing stories about the days when the west was still wild, and Indians inhabited this beautiful country, then future generations will think it’s always been like it is now…hop in the car and simply go where you want—stop along the way for a burger and fries—take in a movie any ole day of the week—put in your forty hours and go home—whip out the credit card n’ get anything you want…now!
